Mark Malterud presentation

Dr Malterud’s presentation will focus on over 35 years of resin bonded dentistry and the last utilizing ozone for deep preparations and the process of direct and indirect pulp capping utilized in these therapies. The results of over 150 procedures documented over this time frame will be presented. The clinical results and the post operative patient experiences will be discussed. Prevention of the need for endodontic procedures is the ultimate use of these procedures and maintenance of pulpal vitality for proper tooth function is the key side benefit.

Dr Malterud is a general dentist from St. Paul, MN with 35 years of providing comprehensive cosmetic dentistry incorporating Minimally Invasive Dental Procedures. Pankey Institute trained, he finished their entire continuums on comprehensive dentistry. He holds the Master designation in the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2008 he was awarded a Life Long Learning and Service Recognition Award by the AGD. Dr. Malterud is an active member of the ADA, and it’s state and local components along with the AGD(where he just finished a 6 year term as the Trustee for Region 10). He is Past Minnesota AGD President and currently serves on the MN AGD Board along with Chairing some AGD task forces. His lectures always support MID techniques and procedures.
