Dr Sawyer will discuss the oral-systemic connection, reviewing literature references. He will propose adding ozone treatments to the periodontal disease treatment protocols, and share anecdotal evidence of the effectiveness of the ozone treatments in treating periodontal disease.
Gregory L Sawyer DDS is a 1977 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He completed his residency in Hospital Dentistry at University of California Los Angeles in 1978. He has advanced professional expertise in general and cosmetic dentistry, dental implant reconstructions, periodontal therapy, and snoring & sleep apnea.
He is Fellow of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (WCMID), and a Fellow and Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has been awarded a Mastership in the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants.
Dr. Sawyer is recognized internationally for his work in implant dentistry and periodontics, having been a featured speaker on those topics at such conferences as The Star of the South, The Nation’s Capital Dental Meeting, The Yankee Dental Congress, the Chicago Mid-Winter Dental Conference, the WCMID and ICOI.
